Canyon Grove was such an amazing school for my kiddos this year! Small class sizes, positive teachers, great core values, lots of hands on learning, and fun activities throughout the year that help expose students to a bunch of new things. The farm on campus is super unique and awesome. Definitely would recommend if your goal is for your kids to enjoy learning and growing!

Canyon Grove is a great option for families who desire unique educational experiences for their children. I feel like there are many schools out there who SAY they have “experiential learning” or “real-life” education when, in reality, it is just some more in-class curriculum that they are trying to incorporate. In contrast, Canyon Grove evidences their desire for true experiential learning by having a garden and farm be part of their campus. The students were outside often learning by doing. My kids came home with projects and tangibles every day with what they were learning in class. Not only that, but they also administered their state testing and taught history. I was very pleased with my kids’ experience at Canyon Grove.

Canyon Grove is the best! The teachers and staff are all so kind and helpful and the programs are so fun! We love the opportunity to send the kids to school for certain experiences while homeschooling them most of the time. Highly recommend the Epic day program if you are looking for a "hybrid" homeschool/charter school opportunity.

We love Canyon Grove!
My son attended public school k-2, and as a child with anxiety he really struggled going and feeling safe. I often felt like he wasn’t getting the attention he needed for academics because he was not a problem child, and not the top of his class either so he just skated by.
We changed to Canyon Grove in 3rd grade and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. The smaller class sizes allow for each child to get the attention they need, and they truly get to develop at their own pace rather than fall behind.
We love that my son gets to help with the farm and the garden. He is always learning fun and unique things that he would never get to discover in public school.
The last thing I would like to mention is how much diversity is in the school, which in Utah county can be hard to find. Everybody fits in here

We have loved Canyon Grove for our kids! I love the adventures at home program that gives us the resources for homeschooling while also provide our kids with the chance to learn with their peers and experience fun activities through the Innovations/Discovery days that we wouldn’t normally do like paddle boarding, fishing, ice skating, Ninja gym and pottery. My kids love it and we do too!

As a parent, creating the right educational path for my child was a top priority, and I'm thrilled to say that Canyon Grove Academy exceeded all expectations. This school is not just a place of learning; it's a vibrant hub of innovation and inspiration. (It's way cooler than any school I ever attended!)

One aspect that sets this school apart is its flexibility. The hybrid option to educate my child from home several days a week, while still providing in-person experiences has been invaluable. It allowed us to tailor our son's learning experience to suit his individual needs while still benefiting from the enriching environment of the school community.

The curriculum goes beyond traditional education, with unique learning opportunities such as farming, simulated space missions, fishing and STEM lab activities. And my son came home from his first day of school with knowledge of history that astounded me!

One of my favorite features of the school is its library, which offers endless options for curriculum, technology, and learning kits to check out. It's a treasure trove of resources that further enhances the learning experience and encourages exploration and discovery.

Moreover, the administration at Canyon Grove is outstanding. They are approachable, helpful, and always willing to listen to parents' feedback and concerns. I've felt empowered as a parent to be actively involved in my child's education, thanks to their support and encouragement. I appreciate Kim Goates, Becky Pili and their team for creating this amazing program, which was a perfect fit for our family and the answer to my prayers.

Thank you to the entire staff at Canyon Grove for creating such an enriching and empowering learning environment! I'm hoping you expand to other states so that many more families can benefit from this very cool school.

We LOVE Canyon Grove! Delving into homeschooling was quite intimidating, trying to find the best option for my family was hard. We are so glad we came across Canyon Grove! They really have it dialed in when it comes to homeschool family's. We participate in the Epic day and field trip day. It takes a burden off me knowing my kids are getting STEM and more when they participate in these days. The additional resources provided for free are amazing! Subscriptions to learning websites, access to their resource library, and access to educational specialist really make me feel supported as a homeschool mom. It has been a really big blessing in our lives!
