Excellent service! Highly recommended! From the initial inquiry through the completion of the move, Chaps was professional, friendly, and helpful. Their pricing is competitive and their service is top-notch. The moving crew arrived as scheduled and quickly completed our move, including negotiating some really nasty stairs. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

OMG! One of the best movers I’ve ever used. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Needed to move my huge sofa into my apartment because apparently another company couldn’t go it in or maybe they were just lazy. Anyways, Josh & his crew were AMAZING. Took them literally 5 minutes to move my sofa in. So professional, so nice, energy and attitude was 10/10, and no scrapes/damages to my sofa or small apartment door! Book them please!!

My family was moving from Georgia to Missouri.
The first thing that happened was he told me they would be there at 8:30 AM they didn’t show up until past 9AM which it’s fine. Atlanta traffic can delay arrival. Second thing is, Joshua and Ray had awesome attitudes the first day. The other guy (don’t remember name) had a sucky attitude the entire time. BUT when we made this arrangement I asked him different things like what if would cost to do a 3 man for 4 hours instead of 3 hours. It jumped the price up so I told him NO let’s keep it at the 3 hour. We can get it done in 3 hrs loading. 3 hrs unloading. Well the moving company was paid for by my employers. He told us and my employers. We will pay HALF when everything is loaded THE REST when it’s unloaded. My boss was in a meeting when Joshua called him and asked to call him back, Joshua said no it will only take a second and INSISTED on the payment. Joshua “forgot” and proceeded to process the ENTIRE Payment on the 4 hour load and unload WHICH WE DID NOT AGREE ON which my boss was not happy about because that’s not what we agreed to AGAIN. I was like ok… well if it doesn’t take all 8 hours to load and unload will it be refunded Joshua with a rude comment “NOPE”!
I was like ok whatever. They left for the day. DAY 2. I was told that they would ARRIVE at 11:30am-12noon. 12 noon came around I asked hey how close. OH we’re still 1hr and 15 minutes away. My reply was okay! Be careful. An hour and 15minutes goes by they reply there still about 45 minutes about (30 miles from the exit) ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF goes by and they still are not there. They don’t get there until after 3pm. It gets dark at 5pm5:15pm (around that time frame) Well I have 3 kids. That have been waiting since 10AM for their things to arrive and VERY impatient. They are 2,5,7. Very hard to occupy without some of their things. They were very frustrated that I had my kids there. Like this is their home? What are you wanting me to do with them? They told me “can you keep your kids out of the way. I cannot tell you where things go, keep 3 SMALL from interfering with you bringing boxes in. It was so overwhelming with this company I finally just told them to start putting it all in the kitchen. I didn’t care where it went at this point. Joshua is unloading the truck, while ray and the other guy is bringing it in. We’re in MISSOURI. There is SNOW on the ground. The guy said “can you get the mud/water off the floor so we don’t fall”…. I HAVE NOTHING in my house. You have EVERYTHING of mine on the truck what am I going to clean up YOUR foot prints with So as they brought boxes in I was trying to tell them where to go, keep my kids out of the way, and looking for something to clean up their footprints. After getting all the easy stuff out they had a few heavy pieces of furniture left. And this was just the icing on the cake. I have a leather, electric recline, heated, massage, couch. The Couch is worth a few thousand dollars… it was a present from my wife. The backs come off unplug etc to make it easier to move. I will say the base is VERY heavy but with 3 people it should NOT be hard. My wife and I could move it. They BROKE the arm of my couch literally broke the bolt off that kept it together. I was livid at that point. I waited for them to get finished. Asked Joshua what he was going to do to fix the issue and tried to say “it was already like that” NO SIR. IT WAS NOT. He looked at me and said “well what do you want me to do” like it didn’t matter to him. I told him my boss (the one who paid for the move) will be in contact the next day he said okay we will get it taken care of! My boss called the next day to try to get it taken care of, and JOSHUA HUNG UP ON HIM. This was the first time we’ve ever used a moving company and it was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I’d rather suffer and do it myself next time than EVER go through this again. I’m seriously thinking of getting a lawyer to get my couch fixed since he can’t be bothered with a mistake he and his crew made. Just remember, You can run, but you can’t hide.

My sister is moving from Dawsonville to Florida. I can't remember the names of the gentlemen that packed up her home but they were extremely polite, professional and definitely worked hard to pack her beautiful but heavy furniture so things wouldn't get damaged. You will not be sorry using this company.

I’ve used Chaps on several occasions. Extremely professional, very responsive and provides quality care to your personal belongings and dwelling. My most recent move was from a 4 bedroom home. Josh and his team took the time to carefully disassemble our furniture (preserve all screws and parts), shrink wrap it, and methodically and securely load it. Highly recommend. The two gentlemen that came to unload my U-Haul were fantastic. Super respectful, hard workers, and FAST.
